As the state, county and village have set forth guidelines for businesses to be open, we are happy to welcome customers back into the store on a limited basis..... and implement a few new rules.
We understand that you have a choice when it comes to shopping and spending your money and appreciate your support during these ever changing times.
Beginning Friday, May 29, 2020, Yarns Untold will be open for customer traffic. We will be doing all that we can to keep you and ourselves safe and ask that you do the same. We ask that if you are experiencing any non healthy symptoms that you refrain from coming to the store. We will continue to offer curbside pickup and will try to work with you in any way that we can.
We are requiring that everyone who enters the store use the hand sanitizer at the entrance and wear a face mask.
We will allow a maximum of five customers in the store at one time. If there are already 5 customers inside, please socially distance safely outside. We are asking all customers to limit the number of people in their party to store shoppers. Keeping things as sanitary as possible is a challenge when touching is part of the experience.
To aid those customers who have health or other hampering issues, one of 3 spaces may be reserved for either help or shopping.
At this time, we are NOT hosting groups at Yarns Untold. We know that many of you are missing your yarny friends, but we are not in any position to safely congregate in groups of any size.
Additionally, there will be NO RETURNS on purchases. All sales are final. This policy will be reviewed on a regular basis and you will be notified of any updates.
Per CDC and IDPH Guidelines, we ask that you not bring your reusable shopping bags to the store.
We are also announcing a change to our Help Policy. Beginning tomorrow, to receive help, all customers should call to schedule a 15 minute session. Help is $5.00 for up to 15 minutes, and an additional $5 for every 15 minutes thereafter. If you have a large or time consuming issue, we encourage you to utilize the YUpital, our drop off repair service, as a safer and more efficient manner. The rates for the YUpital are the same as those for in-person help. These 15 minute segments are not pro-rated.
YU Club members will receive the first 10 minutes of help free, and then be charged for subsequent intervals. This is just one of the many YU Club Membership perks. Have you signed up?
